I have stepped up to 10k the MASSEY Way!  

I’m taking on the Massey Challenge because I want to help build a future where cancer no longer defines so many lives. VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center is leading powerful research and providing care that brings real hope to people across Virginia, and I’m proud to support their mission through my fundraising.  

Cancer has shaped my family in profound ways. My grandmother — someone I never had the chance to meet — lost her life to breast cancer. My other grandmother faced breast cancer as well. So did my great‑grandmother. And my great‑aunt. Four women across generations, all touched by the same disease. Their stories, their strength, and their battles are a constant reminder of why this work matters.  

By fundraising for Massey, I’m honoring the women in my family and supporting the breakthroughs that can change the future for others. Every contribution fuels research, advances treatment, and brings us closer to a world where fewer families have to face what mine has.
